If you didn't know by now, My government name is Keith Anthony Haynes and y'all already know my alias is Kay-One. Kay stands for Keith and The One stands for I'm go give you my best at all times. I was born and raised in West Palm Beach County. I was a very unusual child. No matter what it was I had to be the best, second place was out of the question. That's why I got that cocky attitude now. My mom's raised me, Pop's was around but he just wasn't there. Me, my mom's and my sis moved out when I was 8. Little did they know, that really messed me up, hurt my heart fa real fa real. So I turned to sports and started writing short stories. See caused where we moved was around a lot of white people. I had a lot of hate or either I was scared of white people cause I didn't want to associate with them. I'm from the hood. Only white people I seen were my teachers. Even though I'm from a broken home as they say, I was still an honor roll student. At age 10, I started writing poetry to express myself cause I had no one to talk to. Mom's worked a lot to support the fam and sis was always at school or at work. Even threw the lonely times my dome still stayed afloat. I stayed out of trouble which made mom's proud and keep great grades. Around age 13, we started moving a lot, I was meeting a lot of new people, some good, some not so good. Started gettin in trouble, I guess it's those teen years. Didn't see myself doing anything special wit life, I really started not to care. I was short tempered with everyone. I started to get suspended from school, fighting a lot, basically I was the son that no one wanted. Believe it or not someone I didn't even know changed my life, you can say he's my idol. Master P said "It ain't NO LIMIT," every sense then I believe that. I started to listen to a lot of rap albums, I couldn't go anywhere without music. In 8th grade I started writing rhymes, people were telling me that they were tight. I'm like stop lyin. They were like for real you should become a rapper, I was like I don't know how to rap. With words from those people, I actually started to practice. I would write a rhyme and try to recite it to a beat. When I got kinda good, I started to recite my rhymes to friends. They started telling me I'm the best, don't forget I'm already cocky, so that really blow my head up. I started to see people like Lil' Bow Wow and Lil' Romeo, you know kids my age making it big. I'm better than them I thought, I'm like I gotta get signed. So by 9th grade I started a little rap label you may call it named Villain Productions. My first artist you my say was Courtney Brown a.k.a. Cold Blood. We were like the two hottest rappers at that time, so we hooked up. Made a few tracks and then we just spilt up, how, even I don't know that. I still rapped or whatever, you know in school, parties, and hang out spots. People keep asking me do I still rap and when is the album coming out. I said soon, I'm go make an impact believe me. So to make a long story short. At the start of my 12th grade year, I meet a dude named Alan Monica a.k.a. Fullclip. He was a goofy kid who started just like me. I read some of the stuff he wrote and listened to his voice. I thought maybe I can make something out of this kid. He didn't have the best flow nor the best rhymes but he had a look that I haven't seen in a while, remind me of me. His confidence and chrisma was out of this world. We went and got a beat. I wrote the hook and we both spit in it. Put it on a mix c.d. and passed out a few copies, the public loved it. Before this we had no idea we were going to do a whole album. We thought we were gonna make a demo get signed and if one got signed, we would bring the other one later. We finshed the C.D. Feb.13,2004. Printed and Pressed it Feb.14,2004 and put it on the market. We sold a lot of copies until we split up. I always wanted to do my solo thing but i would of stay making tracks with Fullclip but he got lost. Lost that look, Women got involved, and he bit the hand that fed him. I taught him basically everything he knows about rapping, but a little fame will do it to you. So I carried on doing my solo thing. My album will be out soon. Under what label I don't know, many people have talked to me, but I'm UNDECIDED. |

Right now I am SINGLE, I date or whatever but I haven't got too serious with anyone. I don't wanna look for that right one, I believe she'll pop up when it's that right time. I'll let cupid work it's magic. I don't really have a certain type, listen to the c.d. and you'll here what I like, but personality is first always! |

I don't really have one certain label that i want to sign to. I just wanna be on a label that wil let to have a lot of freedom to do work outside the label. I'm not doing this for the MONEY, I'm doing this because I have something to say and I feel the world needs to hear me. |
Persy Miller a.k.a. Master P inspired me. He put the south on the map. He also told me "It ain't NO LIMIT." He is basically what every black man wants to be...SUCCESSFUL. He's not afraid to make moves that consider strange. |

I listen to music in general. you gotta be open in this business I'm in. My favorites are Tupac and Nas because they are poets like me. My favorite female rapper is Mia X cause she has the power in her voice that moves people. I listen to a lot of R & B such as; R.kelly and Alicia Keys. Also I like soul, can't forget the Marvin Gaye's, Luther Vandross, A little Aneta will definally make this kid alright. |
"It's Hot But Wind Blows" It Means, When things get bad, there is always a positive. I was going to name it "Seriouly Immature" but I will save that for my second LP. I Chose the first title because this album will be a lot of poetry. Trust me this may be my best C.D., wordswise. I'm go preach to ya |

I can't lie McDonald's is my favorite resturant, I eat from there just about everyday. A McChicken and a fry sets me right. My favorite food is Mac & Cheese and my Favorite dessert is Sweet Patato Pie and Banana Pudding. My mom's from the country so I love the country food. |
I don't really have one, I have a couple. Scarface of course, he was a bold dude. Came from nothing to something because of hard work, sort of like me, I'm go work hard always. The Original Kings of Comedy, Bernie Mac was my favorite comic, He had the crowd in his hands. One day I hope to be that good. I'm seriously immature. |

I also have a couple favorite shows. I gotta see making the band every thursday, I will cancel a date because of that show. I learn a lot about the business from Diddy. I also watch Comic View as much as possible, I'm a funny dude, so you know I like to get my laugh on. |
I'm kinda unique, I try to flip my style on every song. If I had to choose someone, I would say Nas. He's a poet just like me. Also he has a flow that you can't help but nod ya head to. |

Sad to say, NO, I have never been in love. I've been close, had a lot of feelings for this one girl (she knows who she is) but it would have never worked so we just broke it off. I know its better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all. I'm not really lookin for that special one, when it's time she'll appear. |
Basically A Masterpiece Alot of albums come out and you can only feel like 3 tracks off the whole c.d. and 2 out of those 3 are just because of the beat. I'm bringing a unity of words and melody together to create that style that people have been waiting for. I'm not tryin to say I'm the best but I'm one of them. I should have been signed at birth ya feel me.

Well, T.G.P. and myself did "Villain Productions - Almost There" album. I didn't want to go the same route this time. I got a variety of beat makers on this one, such as; Ronald a.k.a R.Keys, Penn from Pennstrumentals, PhatBoi from PhatBoi Productions, Big Lo from Country Foot Entertainment, Alex from T.G.P., Suspect, and Myself. I feel that if I have a lot of different styles you won't get bored of the album. |
Last Album had just one feature. We basically wanted to get known for our own sound first. On my new album you hear artists such as; PhatBoi (club banger), 2 slabz (country boyz), Laretta (jazzy singer), and many more local talent. I didn't want to get a big name cause i feel people would think that it was their track. I'm tryin to put myself and the city on the map fa real fa real. |
